YIT Suomi Oyj is a construction company operating in the housing, business premises and infrastructure construction sector, and is the largest of its kind in Finland and one of the major players in the Nordic construction industry. A number of apartment blocks have been built on the Järvenpään Loiste construction site in the Järvenpää neighbourhood of Pajala.

Teijo Juurakko, site manager for Järvenpään Loiste, wanted to find an alternative to large fluorescent tube work lights, as well as ensuring that the new solution was more energy efficient and durable.

El-Björn had just launched the BOJ LW 48V LED construction site light, which is more versatile in terms of size and properties than older construction site lights. Teijo decided to trial El-Björn’s BOJ LW 48V 20W lights and was quickly impressed by the size and portability of the lights, in addition to their other properties. Furthermore, Teijo also stated that the El-Björn model is the best construction site lighting solution he has ever come across.
