Since July 1, 2001, new laws require the recycling of all discarded electrical products.

The law explicitly prohibits the disposal or incineration of electrical products without prior treatment. To ensure the correct final disposal of your dehumidifier or BOJ lamp, El-Björn AB is connected to the electrical recycling system Elretur. A fee covering the final disposal of your newly purchased product is charged to you.

Product Disposal
From an environmental perspective, it is in everyone’s interest that your dehumidifier or BOJ lamp is disposed of properly. El-Kretsen ensures that components such as refrigerants, oils, compressors, and electrical components are handled in an environmentally correct manner.

How to Recycle Your Product
Households/Individuals:
You can drop off the product free of charge at your local municipal recycling center.

Businesses, Organizations, Public Sector:
A collection site is available in each municipality. Contact your municipality or check www.el-kretsen.se to see where households and businesses can drop off electrical waste.

At these sites, you may exchange an old product for a newly purchased one at no cost, provided you show a receipt for the new purchase. If you bring more than you purchased, a fee will apply for the additional items.

The product does not need to be of the same brand but must serve the same function.

Businesses disposing of multiple machines should contact El-Kretsen (tel: +46 8-545 212 90) to find out where to drop off larger quantities. If transporting directly to a pre-treatment (dismantling) facility, a Transport Document is required (available at www.el-kretsen.se).
